Seeker of mysterious things

A misshapen leaf, A disfigured toy figurine, An ink pen missing its nib, Sunglasses sans their lens. I collect things absurd to the onlooker's eye, proclaiming them before they’re lost to time. There's a certain charm I find in things, discarded or abandoned, be they a person, place, or object. Don't they deserve a second chance too? To love, to live or simply exist, even if only for a few moments, if not for a lifetime.

To grieve someone still alive

Maybe that person left, not from this world, perhaps the country or the city, or moved to a different pin code. How do you even go about it? After all, you grieve the dead But to grieve someone living? Someone just a call or text away? Misunderstandings, breakups, arguments, or sheer exhaustion, there are many ways of losing a person, but what’s once lost can’t always be replaced. How do you reclaim those moments? Watching the sun set just for the two of you, catching a movie out of boredom, visiting that same cafe again and again. But what if you were that person? Once full of life and laughter, now just a shell of who you were. How do you grieve for yourself?
